Submit your work

Submissions

We are experimenting with a new anonymous system as to not give an advantage to those we have previously worked with. TO SUBMIT YOUR WORK, YOU MUST FILL OUT BOTH OF THESE FORMS (hyperlinked):

FORM ONE

FORM TWO

If both forms are not completed, we will not know who to contact after reviewing so it is very important that you fill out both One and Two. This is for the sake of anonymity so please DON’T INCLUDE YOUR NAME IN THE FILE UPLOADED in Form One.

An Important Note On Payment: In all likelihood our payouts will be small (for reference, payments ranged from $20 – $150 for the first issue, and we expect payment to grow roughly 50% for the second issue). If you are submitting your work solely because of the payment aspect, we are sad to say that you should send your art elsewhere. We are a very small, passionate team with a very tight budget, and payment is mostly symbolic.

The deadline for the current issue is March 15th, but submitting earlier will always work in your favor. Any submissions afterwards will still be considered, but only for the next issue.

Please allow up to three weeks for a response. If your submission is accepted, we will contact you again at a later date (prior to publication) with payment details. If you do not hear back from us within three weeks, please contact us again.

We limit each person to one publication per issue per medium (with the exception of small internal illustrations), but there is no limit to the number of works you can submit. This means that if you are rejected, feel free to try again with another work or a revised version of the initial one. If you are accepted, please refrain from submitting the same medium again until we are taking them for the next issue. This also means that if you are both an illustrator and a writer, you can be accepted for both illustration and writing in the same issue. Rejections will be as transparent as possible.

We have a strict no AI policy. Any submission containing AI work will not be considered, and may result in a permanent ban from submitting.

Works published in previous magazines and anthologies are allowed, but they are slightly de-prioritized and pay at 1/2 the rate.

IF YOU DO NOT HEAR BACK FROM US, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO FIRST CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER!
