Submit your work

Submissions

We use an anonymous system as to not give an advantage to those we have previously worked with. TO SUBMIT YOUR WORK, YOU MUST FILL OUT BOTH OF THESE FORMS (hyperlinked):

FORM ONE

FORM TWO

You will hear back from us the week after submissions close for the third issue.

If both forms are not completed, we will not know who to contact after reviewing so it is very important that you fill out both One and Two. This is for the sake of anonymity so please DON’T INCLUDE YOUR NAME IN THE FILE UPLOADED in Form One.

An Important Note On Payment: In all likelihood our payouts will be small (for reference, payments ranged from $20 – $150 for the first and second issue). If you are submitting your work solely because of the payment aspect, we are sad to say that you should send your art elsewhere. We are a very small, passionate team that operates on a tiny budget, and payment is mostly symbolic. “There is an inverse correlation between fantasy and money. That is a law, known to economists as Le Guin’s Law” – Ursula K Le Guin in Dreams Must Explain Themselves

The deadline for issue 3 is September 15th 2026.

Any submissions afterwards will still be considered, but only for the next issue.

We limit each person to one publication per issue per medium (with the exception of small internal illustrations), but there is no limit to the number of works you can submit. This means that if you are rejected, feel free to try again with another work or a revised version of the initial one. This also means that if you are both an illustrator and a writer, you can be accepted for both illustration and writing in the same issue.

We have a strict no AI policy. Any submission containing AI work will not be considered, and may result in a permanent ban from submitting.

Works that have been previously self-published are fine, but we will not accept works that have appeared in other literary magazines.
